The non-profit organization Seven Pillars held their annual Interactive Flute Retreat in South Haven in August with a new opportunity for young musicians. They created a day of instruction and group workshops with professional flutists and the New York based Project Trio. Also some yoga and a lunch and then attending the Project Trio performance at Stanley Johnston Park.
Foundry Hall helped promote the free public concert as well as provided sound and logistic support and, through our Creating Community Fund, we helped make the youth day a free opportunity for three local kids. It was an amazing experience for them and we hope to be able to reach more students next summer!
