Founded and fronted by émigré Trinidadian songwriter Drew Gonsalves, Kobo Town’s music has been described as “an intoxicating blend of lilting calypsonian wit, dancehall reggae and trombone-heavy brass”. The band will lead in-class workshops discussing and demonstrating the tradition of Calypso music for students at Baseline Middle School and a school-wide performance on Monday, Nov 25th.
