Foundry Hall’s monthly Teen Open Mic in the art studio behind Rock n’ Road Cycle had another special guest host. Jordan Hamilton, an amazing up and coming solo musician, recording artist and founding member of the Last Gasp Collective, joined us for an evening of teen creative space! He was such a great host getting to know the teens, sharing some experiences as well as some great music of his own. He inspired some participation from everyone and a stellar jam session erupted in the middle of the evening.
Teen Open Mic is a very casual affair – there are art supplies around, friends and new comers every month and some perform, some watch and some make up stuff to do on the fly. Mainly it’s a place to come and maybe get inspired, maybe make new friends, and maybe surprise yourself when you see what comes out of your own head!
